Wendy Wu Tours has celebrated 25 years in business with a very special VIP anniversary sailing onboard the delux

Wendy Wu Tours has celebrated 25 years in business with a very special VIP anniversary sailing onboard the deluxe and ‘state-of-the-art’ Victoria Mekong, one of the newest and most contemporary river cruise ships on the Mekong.

VIP guests enjoyed 17-nights touring in Vietnam and Cambodia, including the special three-night cruise on the Victoria Mekong, in the company of Wendy Wu, the touring specialist’s owner and founder. Several special inclusions featured in this 25-year anniversary departure, including a series of mindfulness sessions and relaxation therapies, led by Wendy Wu herself whilst onboard the river cruise, as well as dinner with local Vietnamese family in Saigon and a special, extended seaplane flight over Halong Bay.

During the cruise Wendy Wu announced a new ‘Wendy Wu Tours Cambodia Scholarship Fund’ which will see the operator embarking on a new educational initiative. Funding a scholarship program for 25 underprivileged children in Siem Reap, Cambodia, these students will have the opportunity to embrace education and all the advantages that this will bring, both personally and to the overall well-being and livelihoods of the entire community.

“Education is very close to my heart, a factor that has always and will always continue to guide and steer me in my lifelong journey in better myself, both professionally and personally. Children deserve the right to an education, however there are so many who face incredible disadvantages and challenges that, very often, the struggle is just not feasible. This really does break my heart and so if we, at Wendy Wu Tours, can do anything to help and enrich even just a small fraction of these children’s’ lives through the scholarship program, then we will have made some progress “said Wendy Wu, founder, and owner of Wendy Wu Tours. “Our commitment to the children in Siem Reap is a lifelong commitment and we hope, that over time, we’ll be able to develop the program and help more children through education,” said Ms Wu.
