Thierry de Bailleul has been appointed to the position of Vice President Sales for Europe at Qatar airways.
Thierry spent many years at Air France-KLM before joining Emirates in 2013 as managing director in France.
Based in the airline’s regional offices in London, he will be responsible for steering sales operations for Qatar Airways across 30 markets.
Qatar Airways chief commercial officer Simon Talling Smith said: “We are thrilled to welcome Thierry to the Qatar Airways team, and excited about the depth of knowledge he brings from many years in the travel and aviation sector. He joins the company at a particularly significant period, as we start to rebuild from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Thierry’s extensive experience of helping to drive sales across different regions with different brands will contribute to the recovery process, and the continued growth of our airline across Europe.”
