Tourism NI hosted an Experience Development Roadshow in Belfast this week to support businesses to enhance their tourism experiences.

The event on board the HMS Caroline was the second in a series of four roadshows across Northern Ireland this autumn and attendees were welcomed by Tourism NI’s Head of Industry Development Eimear Callaghan who set the scene for opportunities over the next twelve months.

Attendees heard about the evolution of the `Embrace a Giant Spirit’ brand, priorities for product development and future tourism capital investment in Northern Ireland.

Several businesses shared their experiences of responding to challenges and opportunities over the last decade.

Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to network and speak to Tourism NI teams on further opportunities for collaboration and development.

Eimear Callaghan said: “Our Experience Development Roadshow on board the HMS Caroline was another fantastic opportunity to engage with so many tourism businesses from across Northern Ireland.

“I hope that all attendees have taken away useful guidance and information on how collectively we can continue to enhance Northern Ireland as a must-visit destination through our tourism brand, Embrace a Giant Spirit.”

“We look forward to the two final roadshows later this month and continuing to work closely with businesses moving forward.”

The next Experience Development Roadshow will take place at Canal Court Hotel in Newry on Monday, October 16 followed by the Everglades Hotel in Derry~Londonderry on Monday, October 23.
