Eamonn Ferrin Officially Leaves Norwegian Cruise Line

Eamonn Ferrin has confirmed that he has officially left Norwegian Cruise Line

Eamonn Ferrin, Vice President & Managing Director – International Sales at Norwegian Cruise Line, has officially confirmed that he has left his position with the cruise line.

Posting on his LinkedIn account on the last day of 2022, Eamonn said: “So tomorrow is officially my last day working for NCL and, it would be remiss of me, not to say a few heartfelt thanks before I depart on my new journey.

“So firstly, thank you to @harrysommer for inviting me 4 years ago to join the NCL team as Managing Director & VP for the UK, Ireland & MEA and latterly, to lead the International sales organization.

“Despite working in the travel industry for almost 25 years I don’t think I (or any of us) imagined the COVID pandemic and 500 days of NOT operating was ever a remote possibility, and yet, it happened. But I am so proud of the hard work, commitment, fortitude and passion played by all NCL & NCLH team mates, both shoreside, and on our ships, to get us back operating again, and indeed, reaching a new milestone of record bookings in November 2022. So I pass on my heartfelt thanks to all my wonderful colleagues in the UK, MEA, Brazil, LATAM, India, Europe, Australia & APAC teams and of course, my USA & Canadian colleagues in all areas for world-wide for welcoming me as part of the NCL & NCLH team and working so hard with me and each other along the way.

“I also want to pay tribute to our wonderful Travel agent partners worldwide who supported us on our journey in the last 4 years. It sounds cliche’d but it truly is not…you are a huge part of our success past, present and future. The future for the cruise industry is very bright indeed, of that, I have no doubt (especially with the number of new ships coming in the years ahead including the beautiful new Prima class ships).

“So, as we come to the end of an old year and enter a New Year in 2023, I will depart from the NCL family with a wish to you all and an Irish blessing “may your days be many, and your troubles few, May peace be within you, may your heart be strong and may you find what you are seeking wherever you roam”.”

The team at Northern Ireland Travel News would like to take this opportunity to wish Eamonn all the best for the future. We hope to see you again soon!
