From today (1st February), users of the CovidCertNI app will be able to upload their booster dose of the covid-19 vaccine.
Using the NIdirect website, individuals should log in to their NIdirect account and refer to the option of applying for a covid certificate which will present the opportunity to renew their current covid certificate.
This will automatically upload your booster dose if you uploaded your original vaccine doses with a health care number which will then be shown within the CovidCertNI app.
Those who did not initially use their health care number will be asked to confirm the location and date of the booster administration.
Booster doses will be shown in the form of a QR code labelled 3/3 if after after a two dose vaccine, or 2/1 if taken alongside a 1 dose vaccine.
Covid recovery QR codes will also be labelled as 2/1 within the app.
