Tunisia Relaxes Covid-19 Measures

Tunisia has announced that it is relaxing its Covid-19 restrictions in a bid to save the tourism season

The Health Ministry of Tunisia has revealed that they will ease the Covid-19 restrictions, including evening curfew, mandatory quarantine for visitors and movement between cities, in an attempt to entice tourists back and save the summer season.

Tourism Minister Mohamed Ammar, said: “With these new measures, the vision has become more clear to travel tour operators… I think that the season can start in May and June because reservations will start from now.”

He added that, with the start of a big vaccination campaign Tunisia would be able to save the tourist season.
