Tourists have been asked to follow the advice of the local authorities in Berlin as they deal with an incident this morning in the city.
A motorist reportedly mounted the pavement before crashing his vehicle through the window of a department store.
Emergency services have cordoned of the street where casualties are being treated at the corner of Rankestraße and Tauentzienstraße.
