This luxurious bed and breakfast offers two themed rooms, each with en suite facilities and treats guests to a locally sourced breakfast served with fruit grown by proprietors, husband and wife team Ian and Avril Hunter.
Caroline Adams, Tourism NI Quality and Standards Manager commented: “Peartree Hill is an excellent addition to the visitor accommodation portfolio in County Down. I commend Avril and Ian for their strong commitment to creating a memorable stay for guests from booking to departure. The focus on local produce on Peartree Hill’s breakfast menu, which includes ingredients sourced from dedicated artisan producers and home-grown seasonal fruit and vegetables from the property’s garden, continues to be a hit with local and international visitors.”
Commenting on the five star award Avril Hunter said: “During our first year of business we welcomed guests from 28 countries who have enjoyed our five-star luxury accommodation within easy reach of Belfast. I’m truly delighted to achieve a five-star quality grading for Peartree Hill and this accolade is a great marketing tool that will help Ian and I attract more visitors.”
