Start Date for £6 EU Visa for Brits Pushed Back

The visa was originally supposed to be available from 2021

The European Union have once again pushed back the start date for the ETIAS visa waiver system.

The system, which will see non-EU holiday makers have to pay a visa fee to enter the EU, was supposed to commence back in 2021.

The EU had already pushed the start date back to August 2022, which now moves to 2024, at the earliest start date.

The Visa waiver is a £6 fee which will cover travel in the EU for a three year period.
