Queensland have announced that they are set to ease Covid-19 entry requirements for fully vaccinated arrivals.
Fully vaccinated travellers will be eligible to enter the Australian state without having to quarantine.
Although, fully vaccinated travellers will be required to take a rapid flow test within 24 hours of arrival in Queensland. Completing a quarantine at home or in other accommodation until a result is confirmed.
Once a negative result is received, travellers will no longer have to isolate. However, proof of vaccination is required to enter non-essential businesses.
Unvaccinated travellers are still required to partake in a 14-day isolation period.
It is expected that the Queensland Government will ease further travel restrictions once 90% of the locals aged 16 and over are fully-vaccinated against covid-19.
