New ‘Digging Through Time’ Group Experience Launched in Israel

Digging Through Time at Korazim National Park is a new group experience at Korazim, a Jewish village which flourished 2,000 years ago in Mishna and Talmud times. The experience is for visitors who want to roll up their sleeves, experience, experiment, and go beyond the theoretical to good, old-fashioned practical work. Digging Through Time offers a complete experience of the archaeological process, including the thrill of discovering antiquities. This is what makes the tour truly special and a memory of Israel to treasure. All digs are conducted under the guidance of the site’s head archaeologist, Achia Kohn-Tavor, where visitors can expect to uncover antiquities thousands of years old.

Korazim National Park preserves impressive remains of a Jewish village from the time of the Mishna and the Talmud, including remains of a magnificent synagogue. Primordial landscapes, a view of the Sea of Galilee and a site mentioned in the New Testament attract Christian pilgrims.
