Nevada’s governor has announced that they are set to abolish the state’s mask mandate from Friday 11 February.
Following a drop in COVID-19 cases, Governor Steve Sisolak announced that a virtual press conference would be held on Thursday to update the public on Nevada’s current Covid-19 case and hospitalisation numbers.
It is expected that Sisolak will follow Nevada’s neighbouring state, California, in their removal of mask mandates.
An announcement on this change is expected to delivered at the virtual press conference.
