Independent Travel Agency, Mango Travels, has secured a booking for a local community support group ‘Strabane Down syndrome Support Group’ to go to Euro Disney.
Daljeet Guram, a director of Mango Travels said: “Since we opened our store on 16th November 2018, We have been receiving great support from the local and surrounding community.
“We have been really fortunate as we have recently managed to secure a group booking of fifty five passengers from a local group ‘Strabane Down Syndrome Support Group’, who are going to Euro Disney next year. We were able to arrange this trip with the great support from one of our key suppliers – Travel Solutions.”
The support group’s founder member and chairperson Hayley Devine said: “Strabane Down Syndrome Support Group was established in 2014. It was set up to support families who have a child with Down Syndrome.
“We provide therapy sessions, training and social outings for the child and their family. In March this year we launched our biggest fundraiser to date. ‘Help us get to Disney’ is our campaign we want to take our group to Euro Disney, so hopefully we can make this dream become a reality.
“We want to say a special thank you to the Proprietors of Mango Travels who believed in us and have accommodated all of our requests to make this experience as memorable as possible for our special children.”
