Leading local tour operator, Travel Solutions, has praised Norwegian Cruise Line for their successful return to operation in the Mediterranean.
Peter McMinn, Travel Solution’s Managing Director said: “Over the past few months Norwegian Cruise Line have successfully re-introduced ships into the Mediterranean. I was fortunate to be invited onboard their latest ship, NCL Getaway, as it restarted operations from Rome last week, and it was a pleasure to be back cruising again in a safe and controlled environment.”
Peter continued: “The safety of passengers is NCL’s priority, but it was very clear that their enhanced safety procedures did not affect the delivery of great service, great food and great onboard entertainment. From a very well organised and quick pre boarding health check to the welcoming smiles of Getaway’s crew, the experience was what we have come to expect from Norwegian Cruise Line. Guests must currently wear masks when moving around the ship, but this only adds to the reassurance that a cruise ship is a safe environment.”
