The latest UK airport has announced it will be lifting its 100ml liquid rule.
It has been reported that this could happen by June 2024.
Birmingham airport will join Tesside and London City Airport, who have both already lifted the 100ml rule; introducing a new 2 litre liquid maximum whilst travelling with hand luggage.
This has been made possible through the installation of new 3D scanners at the airports security. It hopes the introduction will help reduce security waiting times.
