Jet2holidays has added 900,000 passengers to its ATOL following the collapse of Thomas Cook bringing their total capacity to 4.8 million passengers.

An updated from the CAA shows that Jet2holidays remains the second largest ATOL holder, next only to TUI UK.

TUI is currently licensed to carry 5.55 million passengers per year.

Jet2holidays increased its 2019-2020 licence from 3.9 million in October 2019 to 4.8 million, just before the Covid-19 crisis hit the industry.
