ITV Documentary Featuring Princess Cruises Back On Air Next Week

The popular ITV documentary, The Cruise, will return to TV screens at 8.30pm on Thursday, January 11

The six-part documentary, set on board the 3,600 guest Royal Princess, will follow crew and guests as they cruise around the Mediterranean.

The programme, voiced by Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville, has once again been made by Wild Pictures, one of the UK’s leading factual documentary makers. Wild Pictures has a reputation for creating access-led films with high production values that focus on major organisations and human interest stories.

Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ Vice President UK and Europe, said: “This documentary is such a great platform for the cruise industry to showcase what a fantastic experience a holiday at sea is. As well as highlighting stunning destinations and on board events it also gives viewers a sneak peek behind the scenes to show the hard work of the 1,400 strong crew.

“Two more series are due to air later this year with visits to Alaska and the Caribbean. These three series really do show some of the fantastic destinations holiday makers can visit with Princess Cruises.”
