The French Government have announced that they are set to scrap Coronavirus tests for fully vaccinated British travellers.
Currently when arriving in France, fully vaccinated travellers must show a negative lateral flow or PCR result, taken no more than 48 hours prior to their arrival,
This testing requirement has costly for families travelling to the region, with the costs of testing being well over £100 for the average family of four.
However in a statement on Tuesday night, France’s Europe Minister, Clement Beaune said “In the coming days we will announce that tests are no longer needed for vaccinated people.”
Continuing on to add that “This week there will probably be a new European protocol for vaccinated people arriving from outside the EU, with eased measures.”
