From Monday 14 February, Unvaccinated Children can enter Spain given that a negative PCR result is presented.

This PCR test must be taken 72 hours following the traveller’s arrival in Spain.  Making it easier for families to embark on a sunny holiday this summer.

This announcement was made on Friday 11 February by the Spanish Ministry of Tourism who stated that “The government updates the health requirements for entry to Spain for the group between 12 and 17 years of age from non-EU countries… Starting at 00:00h. on Monday 14 may submit negative NAAT test (RT-PCR or similar) made 72h before”

Reyes Maroto, Spain’s Minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism,  spoke of this change, “As one of the world’s favourite tourism destinations, we are committed to making travel to Spain a safe and easy experience, especially for families travelling with children.”
