Easyjet Launch New Domestic Route to Belfast City Airport

The new route from the mainland UK will fly three times a week

Easyjet have launched a new route from the mainland UK to George Best Belfast City Airport.

Flying September 2022, Easyjet will fly three times direct to Bristol. (Friday, Wednesday and Sunday)

Flights are on sale now, with the first available flight on Wednesday 7th September 2022.

Matthew Hall, Chief Executive at Belfast City Airport said: “easyJet was warmly welcomed to Belfast City Airport last July with its service to London Gatwick.

“This route has proved extremely popular and we are thrilled our partnership with easyJet will be further strengthened by the addition of a three times weekly service to Bristol from 7th September.

“The airline will also commence flights to Liverpool on 1st July taking the total number of UK destinations to which passengers can fly to from Belfast City Airport to 19. With 12 daily flights to London, this is considerably more domestic connectivity than any other airport in Northern Ireland.

“As air travel returns, we are very pleased our passengers can continue to benefit from the speed and proximity offered by Belfast City Airport, located just a five minute drive from the city centre, and with average security processing times of six minutes.”

Ali Gayward, UK Country Manager for easyJet commented: “We are delighted to be expanding our presence at Belfast City airport with the introduction of a new domestic route to Bristol operating three times a week from September,  following the launch of our Liverpool service earlier this summer and our Gatwick service last year.

“We are proud to be Northern Ireland’s largest airline and are looking forward to offering more choice and great value fares in Belfast to our customers.”
