Demand for African Safari Holidays on the Rise

New research has shown that the number of people looking to book an African safari has risen 60%

New research has shown that the number of people looking to book an African safari has risen 60% from 2019 with top destinations including Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.

These countries accounted for more than two-thirds (68%) of all interest.

The research also highlights emerging destinations Zambia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Namibia.

The main attraction for safari holidays remains seeing Africa’s Big Five– the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo.

Other popular interests include Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls and the Great Migration.
