New research has shown that the number of people looking to book an African safari has risen 60% from 2019 with top destinations including Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.
These countries accounted for more than two-thirds (68%) of all interest.
The research also highlights emerging destinations Zambia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Namibia.
The main attraction for safari holidays remains seeing Africa’s Big Five – the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo.
Other popular interests include Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls and the Great Migration.
