Popular holiday-hotspot Cyprus has confirmed plans to welcome back UK travellers

The government of Cyprus has confirmed it plans to welcome back UK travellers as soon as they are permitted to travel by the UK government.

Authorities in Cyprus confirmed that UK residents would be welcomed from April 1.

The Uk government has banned non-essential international travel out of the UK until mid-May at the earliest.

In a statement, the government of Cyprus said: “Taking all necessary measures to ensure that visitors enjoy their holidays in a safe and carefree environment, Cyprus will be opening its borders to all UK visitors.

“Cyprus will continue to provide the best holiday experience to which our visitors are accustomed.”
