CroisiEurope Introduces Four More New Itineraries For 2022 Featuring Germany & The Neckar Valley, The Netherlands & Floriade 2022 and The Aegan

Europe’s largest river cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has announced details of four more new itineraries for 2022 featuring Germany and the charming Neckar Valley, the best of the Netherlands, the incredible Floriade Expo 2022 in Amsterdam and some of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean.

The four-night Romantic German Sites & The Charming Neckar Valley cruise from Strasbourg to Stuttgart calls in Heidelberg, Eberbach, Heilbronn and Ludwigsburg. Highlights include Heidelberg, the most romantic city in Germany; the medieval Maulbronn Monastery complex; the Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, one of the largest Baroque buildings in Europe; and the art and cultural hub of Stuttgart. The cruise takes place on the 94-guest MS Mona Lisa with departures on 22nd September and 4th, 21st and 25th October.

The six-day Best of the Netherlands cruise round trip from Amsterdam calls in Hoorn, Gouda and Rotterdam. Highlights include cruising on Lake Markermeer and the Dutch canals; excursions to the quaint villages of Edam and Volendam, the city of Gouda which is known for its namesake cheese and seasonal cheese market, the windmills of Kinderdijk, the city of Haarlem which was home to Frans Hals who was one of the foremost artists of the Golden Age, and the flower auction in Aalsmeer; tasting of regional products including Edam and Gouda, smoked eel in Volendam, Stroopwafel and Dutch mini-pancakes which are known as Poffertjes. The cruise takes place on the 94-guest MS Mona Lisa and the 90-guest MS Victor Hugo with ten departures between 4th April and 18th October.

The six-day 2022 Floriade Expo cruise is round trip from Amsterdam with calls in Huizen, Almere or Lelystad, Lemmer and Urk or Kampen. The highlight of the cruise is a visit to the International Horticultural Exhibition Floriade Expo which takes place every ten years and is a grand stage for local and international horticultural experts to exhibit solutions to making cities healthier and more sustainable. This incredible horticultural event will offer 40 inspiring country presentations, a spectacular greenhouse complex, a cable car over the Floriade park, pavilions with sustainable innovations and a vibrant arts and culture programme with the spotlight on new technologies and products of the future, with special attention to global urbanization, food supply, health and energy extraction. The eight-day Aegean itinerary is round trip from Athens and takes guests on a journey through the cradle of western civilisation to Delos, Mykonos, Kos, Rhodes, Santorini and Paros. Highlights include excursions to the Acropolis; the peaceful Kaisariani Monastery; Cape Sounion and the Apollo Temple; Delos,the mythical birthplace of Apollo; vibrant Mykonos; beautiful Santorini; the natural and historical wonders of Paros; timeless Kos; and cosmopolitan Rhodes. Guests will also enjoy Greek cocktails and traditional entertainment onboard; a sunset dinner above deck while moored just off the coast of Santorini; and free time to hit the beaches in Paros and Rhodes. The cruise takes place on CroisiEurope’s 197-guest coastal cruise ship, the MV La Belle de l’Adriatique with 11 departures between 5th June and 21st August.

The Safeguard Certification Label ensures the proper application of preventive sanitary measures, which have been subject to a rigorous auditing process and confirm that crew members have been thoroughly trained to implement them. These measures have been further strengthened this year with guests needing to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR or rapid antigen test prior on embarkation.
