Cook Islands Remove All Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination requirements have been removed and no longer apply for travel and entry to the Cook Islands

COVID-19 vaccination requirements have been removed and no longer apply for travel and entry to the Cook Islands by Aircraft and Sea vessel as from 6th September 2022.

The news comes as air lift into the country has been increased, with Air Rarotonga’s new route from Rarotonga (RAR) to Pape’ete (PPT) having launched on 13th August.

This was welcome news following the Cook Islands borders re-opening to international visitors from 2nd May 2022.

The stunning South Pacific destination, located between New Zealand and Hawaii lures visitors with its authentic Polynesian culture, warm hospitality of the locals, year-round tropical climate, stunning beaches and breath-taking jungle-clad interiors. With no big chain restaurants or hotels and a local folk-law stating that no building be taller than a coconut tree, it is often said to be how Hawaii was 50 years ago
