Numbers will peak on Good Friday when 17,000 passengers are expected to fly on 116 flights, with customers travelling early to avoid the last minute Easter weekend rush.
In the UK as a whole, 150,000 passengers will fly to or from easyJet’s UK airports on almost 1,000 flights on Good Friday toppling the record for the most passengers travelling with the airline on one day during the Easter period.
Venice and Valencia top the list of most popular sunshine destinations from Belfast this Easter whilst Geneva is the most popular destination for those heading to ski resorts.
Customers can still get some great deals, with great value fares still available. These include Belfast to Venice from £49.34 and Belfast to Valencia from £118.02. Fares are per person, one way, based on two people travelling on the same booking.
