A Canadian airport is missing $20 million in gold after a recent heist.
The airport heist is said to have taken place in Toronto Airport and went undetected at the time.
The gold was within a ‘high value container’ which is said to have been taken by thieves who has access to the cargo holding area from an adjacent company; The company resides close to the secure area of the airport.
No arrests have currently been made.
“Our investigators have got their eyes opened to all avenues” said Regional Police Inspector Stephen Duivesteyn.
“We are looking at all angles on how this item was stolen”.
