Castle Coole will be home to Santa and Mrs Claus on the 7th & 8th December and from the 12th-17th December as they prepare for the busy Christmas season. They will be welcoming children into their magical Christmas home – the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. In this talk Paul Clements, travel writer, broadcaster and former BBC journalist, will focus on the significance of this area of Richard Hayward’s work and how he helped to promote tourism in County Antrim in the middle decades of the 20th century. This talk forms part of the programme around ‘Richard Hayward’s East Antrim’, an exhibition looking at the life of Richard Hayward which is on display until Tuesday 31st December. - Larchfield Estate Christmas Wreath Workshop – Lisburn, 4 December.
