New Marketing Campaign from the Big Apple

NYC & Company–the New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organisation has launched a new multi-faceted marketing campaign.

Underwritten and supported by leading US companies, the innovative and resourceful year-long campaign is the evolution of the city’s 2007 global marketing efforts – with the tagline “See More. Be More. This is New York City,” designed to showcase the unsurpassed energy, excitement and diversity of 2009’s number one US tourist destination.

The new campaign will be seen across the country and in multiple destinations throughout the world, and include promotional packages from leading corporate partners, including American Express, American Airlines and Travelocity, among others.

“The launch is exciting news for New York City tourism, one of the City’s strongest industries,” said NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta. “Our goal is to let the world know just how vibrant New York City is and remains.”

John Donohue, the NYC & Company representative in Ireland, commented: ” New York remains the Number 1 US Destination for travellers from Ireland and innovative campaigns such as See More, Be More will add to the appeal that New York possesses for the Irish.”

The new campaign will highlight the City’s five boroughs through vibrant and colourful imagery targeted to an even larger domestic and worldwide audience.
