Belfast man Tom Allen has set up a new specialist travel company along with a fellow ex-Director of Cadogan Travel Doug Mathieson.
Shorex Travel, based in Chertsey, Surrey is a company which claims to offer more exciting tour excursions and cruise extensions.
The Company offers travel agents and cruise lines the opportunity to add value to cruise bookings for both their customers and themselves.
Shorex Travel has announced its first programmes to the Trade with the launch of their new interactive website – www.shorextravel.com.
Destinations and packages are linked to cruise arrivals and departures. Agents can also easily book them as ‘stand alone’ and tailor-made breaks. And all can have extra nights and experiences easily added with a fully flexible easy to use on-line booking system. The booking system gives agents total flexibility to construct their customers’ break; and book it easily on-line.
Shorex also provides a ‘Friend in the City’ in each destination, committed to helping customers enjoy their stay even more helping them discover that unusual or little known gem, from a great place for breakfast to the hottest ticket in town.
