It’s understood Belfast International Airport is considering introducing strict new rules on dropping off and picking up passengers.
It’s believed that the plan is to channel drivers into a into a new drop-off and pick-up zone.
Although no date has apparently being set for the introduction of the new measures, some barriers have already been installed at the front of the terminal.
The aim of these would be to prevent vehicular access to the front entrance of the main terminal building.
It’s not clear yet when the new arrangements will come into force: but it’s believed they could come into operation next month.
