Business class reimagined
United Polaris business class service is designed to bring a new level of quality to every aspect of premium cabin travel – from lounge to landing – and provide the best sleep in the sky.
The United Polaris seat is now flying on aircraft across our system, and we’ll continue to add it to our existing fleet over the course of the next few years. On any long-haul international flight across our global network, you can enjoy all other aspects of the United Polaris inflight experience, from bedding and amenities to beverage and dining service.
In addition to the new features, United Polaris customers can enjoy Premier Access premium travel services, free checked baggage and a variety of inflight entertainment options like United Private ScreeningSM, United Wi-FiSM and our inflight magazine.
Saks Fifth Avenue bedding
In a first-of-its-kind partnership, we worked with Saks Fifth Avenue to create custom, luxury bedding for our United Polaris customers. You’ll have the choice of two different blankets — a quilted duvet and a lighter throw blanket — to help you find the perfect amount of warmth. Mattress cushions are also available upon request, to bring extra comfort to your onboard bed.
Restaurant-quality dining
We’re proud to offer United Polaris customers a chef-designed, multi-course inflight dining experience. In collaboration with chefs from The Trotter Project, a nonprofit organisation committed to mentoring and internship programs for youth interested in the culinary arts, United executive chefs created a menu that features fresh, seasonal ingredients and bold flavours from around the world. The dishes will rotate every month, so you’ll continue to have new dishes to experience on board.
For those mid-flight cravings, we offer à la carte snacks that you can enjoy at your convenience.
Sleep-themed amenities
When curating our United Polaris amenities, we put a strong emphasis on providing comfort and creating the right environment for restful sleep. Cozy slippers are perfect for quick trips out of your seat or for just standing and stretching during a long journey. In your amenity kit, you’ll find premium skincare items from Sunday Riley to keep you feeling relaxed, refreshed and moisturised, as well as ear plugs and an ergonomic eye mask to block out any ambient distractions while you sleep.
To get your mind ready for sleep, you can plug in the premium noise-reducing headphones we provide, and tune to the relaxation channel in your seatback entertainment system for peaceful sounds or even guided meditations.
United Premium Plus: where comfort meets convenience
Our international premium economy experience is here. The seat provides more space and comfort with added benefits such as an amenity kit containing Sunday Riley, Saks Fifth Avenue blanket and pillow, upgraded dining on chinaware and more. The seats are located closer to the front of the aircraft, directly behind Polaris. Customers travelling in United Premium PlusSM receive Premier Access check-in, priority boarding and complimentary checked bags. *Premium Plus may not be available until later in the season.
