Wednesday night (28th February 2024) saw Visit Malta host an array of travel agents from agencies across Northern Ireland for a night at The Doyen, Belfast to educate them on the fantastic island of Malta!
Deborah Harris from Belfast International Airport joined the group to share on the new flight routes out of Belfast and Tolene Van Der Merwe from Visit Malta presented on the fantastic destination of Malta! Educating agents on the history and legends surrounding the island, the incredible gastronomic delights, the array of activities available to travellers & the never ending list of Hollywood Blockbusters filmed under the sun in Malta!
Agents were then put to the test to see how much knowledge they had gathered in a Bingo Quiz which saw lucky winners take home a bottles of Maltese wine, Malta’s own brand of lager, business lounge passes for Belfast International Airport and gin provided by Belfast International Airport!
Two very lucky winners, Anne Moffett from Dunlop Travel and Joanne Hawthorne from Travel Solutions took home the ultimate prize of two return flights from Belfast to Malta! Congratulations to both the fantastic winners!
