UK Transport Secretary to Speak at ABTA Travel Convention

The UK Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, is set to speak at this year's ABTA Travel Convention

UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps will speak at this year’s ABTA Travel Convention.

This year the convention is taking place as a one-day virtual event on October 14.

Shapps has been leading the Government’s policy on travel corridors and quarantine rules.

ABTA said he will be talking to delegates about the Government’s ‘vision for the future of travel and tourism’ in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

He will also outline the plans in place for current EU travel legislation as the UK approaches the end of the Brexit transition period on December 31.
