The TUI Group has confirmed its plans to “tap new markets” in its Q3 financial results announcement. The group has also announced that it has partnered with Malaysia Airlines to establish its Malaysia Airlines Holidays business.
Citing its ‘TUI 2022’ strategy programme, the group says it will continue to expand globally, particularly in emerging economies “with growing middle classes”.
These include China, India, Brazil and Malaysia.
The report stated: “TUI will tap these future markets through a fully digital approach via an innovative and globally scaling distribution and marketing platform, which forms the basis of TUI’s state-of-the-art IT infrastructure.”
