TTC Tour Brands Targets UK Growth, with Series of New Hires and Tour Focuses

TTC Tour Brands (Contiki, Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Costsaver), has announced ambitious expansion plans for UKI with a series of hires across the business to enhance its operations in the market

TTC Tour Brands (Contiki, Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Costsaver), has announced ambitious expansion plans for UKI with a series of hires across the business to enhance its operations in the market.

The growth plan has already begun, with strategic hires within the sales team, solidifying TTC’s dedication to agent partners. New Director of Sales, Kelly Walker, who was previously Head of Distribution at easyJet Holidays, has joined to lead the UKI sales team and help to elevate TTC’s relationships with valued trade partners. Polly Poulton also joins the team as National Account Manager from G Touring, bringing over 20 years’ experience to the role.

However, the growth of the UKI team doesn’t end there as TTC is also currently recruiting for a variety of roles. Namely they are looking to recruit a Sales Manager focusing on homeworkers. Having listened to feedback from agent partners TTC wants to ensure it can offer flexible, tailored and in-depth support to this important and growing segment of the agent market. There are also two new Area Sales Manager roles, including someone dedicated to Scotland and Northern Ireland, another first for TTC.

Speaking about the UK growth plans Kelly Walker, Director of Sales at TTC Tour Brands Europe, UK & Ireland said:

Aiming to assist the rapid UKI growth, TTC Tour Brands has also hired a new communications agency in the UK, taking on board FleishmanHillard. Fleishman will oversee all trade and consumer communications and will sit within its marketing team under the leadership of Anna Vine.

TTC is expecting to see sales growth across the board in UKI, current trending destinations are Asia, particularly Japan; North America, with Canada being a firm favourite, and the ever-popular range of Europe, with Scandinavia sales picking up.

The company is also seeing that the market is heavily deal driven so far this year, with consumers hungry to bag travel deals across the TTC Tour Brands portfolio. Responding to this appetite the groups Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Costsaver tour brands are currently running a “Big Tour Sale”, giving holidaymakers 15-20% off if they purchase a tour. Contiki also has a sale, offering up to 25% of a tour if you book before 29th February this year.
