Travel Trade’s Annual Public Extravaganza!

Holiday World Belfast is the travel trade's biggest and most influential annual showcase, attracting exhibitors from around the world to take part in a three-day extravaganza of travel

The 2019 show at Belfast’s Titanic Exhibition Centre over 18, 19 and 20 January will provide the trade not only with opportunities to sell ‘on the spot’, but also to plant seeds for future sales. Tens of thousands of potential customers will visit the show over the packed three days, each looking for value, variety and destinations to inspire and excite.

Ready to tempt them with show-only deals, added-value offers and the very latest in holiday hot spots will be tourist boards, destinations, hotels and B&Bs, visitor attractions, airlines and service providers and, of course, caravans, motorhomes and campsites. It’s a combination which delivers a unique ‘win-win’ for exhibitors and visitors alike, as Sales Director Maureen Ledwith explains.

She says: “For exhibitors, Belfast Telegraph Holiday World provides a unique, direct connection with thousands of holiday-ready potential customers. January is a traditional high point for holiday bookings and many of those who attend the show will want to commit on the spot, while others will want to mull over their choices. In either case, this is a chance to do business and build customer relationships.”

Responding to that business opportunity, many successful exhibitors from the 2018 show have already committed to Holiday World 2019, while amongst the big new names checking in will be China’s National Tourist Office, the Great Lakes region of the USA, the Madeira Promotion Bureau and the Turks & Caicos Tourist Board.

They’ll join a cast of hundreds at the three-in-one event where, in addition to the varied and colourful attractions of the main show, there will also be a 50+ Village, reflecting the continuing growth and buying power of that market sector, and the ever-popular Caravan & Motorhome Show, always a crowd-pleasing centrepiece of the annual event.

Maureen adds: “We’re delighted to be taking reservations at brisk pace, but we’re still open for bookings and, indeed, open to creative new ideas which will expand the visitor experience and increase the business opportunities for our stand-holders. Previous innovations such as the dedicated Oasis Travel Cruise Pavilion featuring its own bespoke lecture theatre and the Honeymoon & Weddings Destinations Pavilion hosted by Clubworld Travel have proved such a hit that they will be returning – in yet more special format – for 2019. We are eager to see what fresh ideas exhibitors will come up with as we all look forward to a great New Year and a fantastic Belfast Telegraph Holiday World!”
