Hays Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel agent, wants to give 699 people a break – as an apprentice in the travel industry.
For the first time, Hays Travel is recruiting in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, as well as all over England, following the takeover of the former Thomas Cook stores just three months ago.
The company is now recruiting for new apprentice travel consultants in its branches all around the UK as well as for other roles at its head office in Sunderland. Since 2015, over 860 apprentices have been taken on in shops and head office roles.
Apprentices will join an award-winning apprenticeship scheme, with a guaranteed job offered on successful completion. They will be gaining recognised qualifications and earning a wage at the same time as developing the skills needed to build a successful career.
The company is looking for people who are passionate about travel and want a career that is going places. Almost half of Hays Travel’s managers began as an apprentice.
