Transport Committee Seeks Input for Industry For Inquiry

The Transport Select Committee has called on the travel industry to provide input for its next in-depth inquiry

The Transport Select Committee has called on the travel industry to provide its input for its next inquiry.

The in-depth inquiry will centre around “the future of transportation”.

The cross-party committee of MPs said it wanted to assess the impact “new and disruptive technologies and trends” could have across the industry.

It has launched an appeal for “experts, researchers and innovative thinkers” to share their views on what the committee should be investigating as it scrutinises government transport policy.

Those wishing to share their ideas should send a 500-word proposal via the committee’s website before midday on 6 February.

A shortlist of investigation ideas will be made and those who have submitted them invited to present their proposals during a future committee session.
