Trade is ‘Absolutely Vital’- NCL Praise Trade Work at Recent Delivery Ceremony

The cruise line is also setting aside 10,000 Trade cabins onboard Norwegian Prima

Absolutely vital. That is how Norwegian Cruse Line’s President and CEO, Harry Sommer, described the travel trade. Speaking recently at the delivery ceremony of Norwegian Prima, the first of six new vessels entering the new Prima class, Sommer said,

“The trade community, for us, continue to be the single largest distribution source for us.

we partner with trade all over the world…to provide real time… support to our trade partners.”

The delivery ceremony of NCL’s first new class of ships in over a decade was attended by Frank Del Rio, President and CEO Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, Harry Sommer, President and CEO Norwegian Cruise Line, along with Fincantieri shipyard owners and trade partners.

NCL have also confirmed it will set aside a number of cabins onboard to thank trade partners across Norwegian Prima’s inaugural season.

“We (NCL) are setting aside 10,000 cabins on Prima’s inaugural season, in the first three months, specifically for trade partners, so they can come on… both here in Europe and in the United States, because we are committed in doing everything we can to see out trading partners succeed.

“These are entrepreneurs throughout the world ,who each have unique business models, and unique ways to generate demand and interest to our customers, and thats what allows us to win, allows us to win together.”

Prima’s inaugural sailing takes place on August 27 2022.
