Tourism Tokyo has expanded its travel agent training platform, adding two new modules to mark Japan’s reopening.

The new modules are aimed at encouraging travellers to explore lesser known areas outside the city limits and include details on post-Covid recommendations and new activities as a result of the Olympic Games.

It also includes behind-the-scenes tours of the Japan National Stadium and details on food, art, entertainment, architecture, nature and new hotel openings.

This year, Tokyo has eight new properties opening including Bulgari Hotel and Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya, as well as a new interactive teamLab museum.

Agents completing all six Tokyo online training modules by February can win furoshiki Japanese wrapping cloths and Tokyo branded goodies.
