Tourism Ireland Goes ‘Down Under’ With Virtual Luxury Travel Expo

Twenty-three tourism companies from Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland took part in Tourism Ireland’s ‘Ireland Luxury Virtual Expo’ for Australia and New Zealand this week

Twenty-three tourism companies from Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland took part in Tourism Ireland’s ‘Ireland Luxury Virtual Expo’ for Australia and New Zealand this week.

The ‘Ireland Luxury Virtual Expo’ was an online B2B tourism event, organised by Tourism Ireland to allow the tourism companies from across the island of Ireland to connect with around 48 leading Australian and New Zealand travel agents and tour operators.

Tourism Ireland facilitated, via an online system, a series of one-to-one, pre-scheduled video appointments. The aim was to highlight our superb luxury tourism offering and highlight that we are open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome back visitors from Australia and New Zealand.

Sofia Hansson, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Australia and New Zealand, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted that 48 Australian and New Zealand travel advisors took the time to join us, and our partners from across the island of Ireland, for our ‘Ireland Luxury Virtual Expo’. Our key message for the Australian and New Zealand travel advisors was that the island of Ireland is open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome their clients back to our shores for a fantastic holiday experience.”
