TIPTO Welcomes Grosvenor Travel’s Amanda Parsonage to Agent Ambassador Panel

TIPTO kicks off Year 21 by welcoming its eighth Agent Ambassador

Amanda Parsonage, Director of Grosvenor Travel in Chester, joins the popular programme with immediate effect. With the aim of helping to inform TIPTO’s strategic direction for the year to come, Parsonage will utilise her experience of frontline sales to shape TIPTO throughout this year and beyond.

Joining the association’s panel of Agent Ambassadors, Parsonage will be given the opportunity to attend TIPTO’s General Meetings and play an integral role in influencing everything from the set up and delivery of roadshow events and training sessions, through to the incentives offered by members.

In addition to taking an active role in the TIPTO set up, the ambassadors are also given first refusal on invites to special VIP events such as Ladies Day at the Races, TIPTO’s lavish afternoon tea and member lunches, which are all held at top locations around the UK.

TIPTO Chairman, Nick Hughes, comments: “We continue to be impressed by the collective input of our Agent Ambassadors – the panel is going from strength to strength and their experience within the industry is certainly adding value to our strategic position as we move into Year 21. We are delighted to welcome Amanda into the fold and look forward to using her knowledge and insights to impact our overall efforts in aiding the learning of agents nationwide.”

Says Amanda Parsonage, Grosvenor Travel: “I have been a regular attendee of TIPTO events since coming into travel three years ago and I truly believe the information and industry insights provided by suppliers add real value to our day to day work. I’m delighted to have secured a place within the Agent Ambassador Programme and I’m looking forward to utilising my experience to help the team shape TIPTO’s future.

It’s certainly helped me grow and I’m now excited to repay that debt by helping the association to strategically grow for the benefit of the wider travel trade.”

TIPTO continues its hunt for new agent ambassadors and the criteria for entry is simple: agents must regularly attend TIPTO roadshow events and be registered at www.tipto.co.uk. A proactive and motivated approach to working with TIPTO’s independent tour operator members and of course a want to improve the future of TIPTO for the better is a must.
