This morning we kicked off the start of the two day event with a round of speed networking and a morning tea with Oceania Cruises.
Those that attended the Speed Networking session where then treated to a delicious Morning Tea with Oceania Cruises, all whilst Sharon updated on everything new with Oceania Cruises.
Travel Solutions join us for the 3rd year in sponsoring the Agent Lunch day 1 which has just kicked off.
Peter and the team have an incredible Summer Soiree themed lunch organised for agents.
The Trade Exhibition will take place on later from 2pm – 5.30pm in the Grand Ballroom. Over 50 top Travel Suppliers from Hotel chains, Cruise Lines, Tourist Boards, Airlines, Holiday providers and many more will be waiting to meet agents and discuss their products/services. During the exhibition, refreshments are courtesy of Ground Coffee.
Titanic Distillers will also be hosting whiskey tasting in the Reception Area.
A new feature of this years Big Travel Trade Event is the ‘Industry Insight Sessions’.
These are panel discusses with both travel agents and industry suppliers where they discuss a relevant topic within our industry; Sustainable Growth.
Compared by NI Travel News’ editor, Kirsty Johnston, each set of panelists will look at what sustainable growth is, how we can obtain it, and what the future will look like for the travel industry.
Day one will see a panel of leading travel agents join together to discuss the topic & Day two, industry suppliers will take to the stage.

After a productive day of engaging and connecting with travel suppliers, Agents are invited to enjoy a Night at the Races with the Spanish Tourism Office and Visit Salou.
Tomorrow we will kick off Day 2 with Palladium Hotel Group’s ‘Unexpected Breakfast’ in the Laganview Suite (1st Floor) with Joanne.
For the suppliers you missed on Day 1… Join us on day 2!! The Trade Exhibition will run from 10.30am – 2pm.
Over the 2 days, American Airlines will host meetings in the ‘American Airlines Lounge’, the team have coffee and treats for you, nip to the Lobby to say hello and discover all things AA.
Silversea Cruises are once again brining the sophistication and class we all love to enjoy with The Silversea Cruises Agent Lunch, taking place in the Laganview Suite at 2pm.
This year Jet2holidays will be bringing the fun factor with an ‘Evening for Everyone’.
