The Bahamas Strengthens Trade Relationships with Introduction of Agent Incentive Programme

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation announce that Irish agents will be eligible for booking incentives from March 2026

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation has announced that Irish agents will be eligible for booking incentives from march 2026.

Irish agents will have the opportunity to avail of rewards and incentives when booking at more than 100 locations across 16 islands.

The programme is currently running in several European marks and is part of The Bahama’s wider strategy of strengthening trade relationships across Europe.

Connections to The Bahamas for Irish travellers are in place with flights through British Airways from London and connections available from Dublin via Dublin Airport through routing options with Air Canada and JetBlue offering additional travel flexibilty.

Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, said, “Extending the programme to Ireland strengthens The Bahamas’ engagement within the European travel trade and supports increased visibility for The Islands of The Bahamas,” he said. “This expansion reflects The Bahamas’ deliberate strategy to broaden its presence across priority European markets while creating meaningful booking opportunities for Irish travel agents. The Bahamas remains committed to partnerships that stimulate bookings and sustain long-term market growth.”
