Scenic Offers Agent Incentives to Celebrate Milestone

Scenic Group is celebrating five years of Scenic Eclipse, the world's first discovery yachts, by offering incentives for agents

September 2024 marks a significant milestone for Scenic Group as it celebrates the fifth anniversary of Scenic Eclipse, its groundbreaking Discovery Yachts. Since its launch in 2019, Scenic has consistently set the standard for ultra-luxury ocean cruising, offering exceptional itineraries in some of the world’s most untouched and remote locations.

To commemorate this fifth anniversary, Scenic is providing travel agents with various incentives as a token of gratitude for their support over the years. This includes an opportunity to win a Scenic Eclipse cruise in 2025*. Agents can enter the draw by making a Scenic Eclipse booking between September 1 and 30, 2024. The winner will be randomly selected on October 1, 2024, and will enjoy a cruise around Iceland, crossing the Arctic Circle with Scenic in July of the following year.

Throughout September, agents can also earn double points on Scenic Eclipse bookings, which translates to £40 in luxury gift credits for each booking made. Agents should email rewards@scenic.co.uk by October 15 to claim their rewards.

Glen Moroney, Founder and Chairman of Scenic Group, remarked: “Since Scenic Eclipse’s debut in 2019, we have raised the bar in ultra-luxury ocean cruising. The MKM Yachts team and our dedicated crew take immense pride in the continuous innovation and exceptional discovery yacht experiences we’ve cultivated over the past five years.”

Scenic raised the standards of ultra-luxury cruising further with the launch of Scenic Eclipse II in March 2023. This includes an upgraded Senses Spa, a newly designed Sky Deck featuring a Vitality pool, private cabanas, and a Sky Bar. New destinations in the Oceania region have also been incorporated into the extensive portfolio. Meanwhile, the sister brand Emerald Cruises introduced the next generation of small yacht cruising with Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara in 2022 and 2034, respectively, with the construction of a brand-new luxury yacht, Emerald Kaia, set to launch in April 2026.

“Scenic Group is dedicated to establishing luxury yachts as a new growth category in ocean cruising. This commitment extends to the expansion of Emerald Cruises, with the upcoming launch of Emerald Kaia in 2026, alongside Emerald Azzurra and Sakara.”

Scenic is also offering an exclusive 5% discount on all voyages booked before September 30, 2024**, and in celebration of the anniversary, has partnered with the nonprofit organization JUST ONE Tree, showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability. This initiative will channel donations from Scenic to support ocean regeneration efforts, assisting local communities in planting and monitoring mangrove seedlings, as well as aiding the Climate Foundation in restoring kelp forests in the ocean.

The Discovery Yachts have achieved numerous significant milestones in the past five years. Notably, in January 2022, Scenic Neptune, Scenic’s custom-designed submersible, completed the first submersible dive in South Georgia in 40 years, followed by the world’s first night dive off the Oaxacan coast in Mexico later that year. In November 2023, Scenic Eclipse made its first helicopter landing on Antarctica’s Snow Hill Island, offering guests a rare opportunity to see a colony of over 4,000 breeding pairs of Emperor penguins.***

In February of this year, Scenic appeared on Channel 5’s ‘Cruising with Susan Calman,’ leading to a substantial year-on-year increase in sales, with more than quadrupled figures and a record rise in phone inquiries and website traffic across all ocean products.

Looking ahead, Scenic has introduced new ocean voyages for 2025, including a 13-day journey inspired by myths and folklore of Ireland, Scotland, and Iceland, as well as a 16-day cruise from Denpasar, Bali (Benoa), around the Indonesian Archipelago to tropical Darwin in Australia. In April 2025, travellers can also cross the equator on a 20-day cruise from Rio de Janeiro to the Spanish Riviera, with stops in West Africa, Morocco, and the Canary Islands.
