The team at Northern Ireland Travel News were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of well-known travel agent, Will Dunlop.
Will Dunlop started his career in the Belfast Telegraph, then moved to Bray Travel before starting his own travel agency, Dunlop Travel, growing to three branches across the region in Newtownards, Newcastle, and Downpatrick.
A well-known and highly respected figure within the travel industry, Will Dunlop was inducted into the Northern Ireland Roll of Honour at the Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards back in 2007.
A legend within golfing circles in Newtownards, as past president and captain of Scrabo Golf Club, he was a regular amongst the travel golf society.
A funeral ceremony will be held for Will Dunlop on Monday 12th January 2025, Christ Church, Carrowdore at 2pm.
Our thoughts are with his entire family circle, including his two daughters Kerri-Lyn, Leah, and his five grand children at this sad time.
