Jet2.com and Jet2holidays were one of many travel companies who enjoyed a triumphant night at the Travel Weekly Globe Awards, picking up four prestigious national accolades which were voted for by both customers and the travel industry.
Jet2holidays won the award for Best Short Haul Operator for the second year running as well as picking up the coveted Favourite Short Haul Operator award.
Capping off a dominant evening for Jet2holidays, the package holiday specialist was voted as Best Trade Friendly Brand. This recognises the company’s 16-strong trade team and its dedicated approach to working with independent travel agents to help them grow their businesses.
As well as this triple success, leading leisure airline Jet2.com was voted Best Short Haul Airline by UK travel agents for the fifth time in just seven years, beating a number of other well-known airlines to the coveted prize.
Other big winners on the night included British Airways, Hilton Hotels, Kuoni, P&O Ferries, Royal Caribbean, Silversea, Trafalgar, Flexible Autos, Emirates, Wendy Wu Tours, Gold Medal, Hurtigruten, Super Break, Attraction World, Amadeus and Holiday Extras.
