The funeral of Jim Hasley will take place at lunchtime today in his native Lisburn. The service will be held in the First Lisburn Presbyterian Church, Market Square in the city centre at 2pm.
Jim was the founder and owner of Jim Hasley Travel on Belfast’s Beersbridge Road.
Jim has been out of the travel agency business now for many years now but he and his wife Betty were familiar faces at travel functions and promotions for many years. Even after retiring from the business he retained his interest in travel and regularly attended Belfast Holiday World show to keep in touch with developments and to renew acquaintances.
Jim Hasley Travel on Belfast’s Beersbridge Road was a retail agency which specialised in group travel, particularly in making arrangements for sports trips.
He is survived by his wife Betty who also worked in the business.
