Just like that the On Tour March Roadshow comes to a FANTASTIC end! One Tour bus, three nights, fourteen suppliers, over 100 agents & an abundance of fun had by all!
Tuesday 5th March saw the NI Travel News team meet up with our brilliant bunch of suppliers who represented a vast array of companies and take them off to the walled city, Londonderry/Derry, for the first night of the tour! Wednesday 6th March was the second day of the tour when suppliers arrived at the City of Armagh for a fun filled night of networking and engagement. The last leg of the Tour was in the Capital, Belfast, on Thursday 7th March and it was quite the finale!
A massive THANK YOU to the team at Travel Solutions who provided the bus for the suppliers to relax on throughout their time On Tour and for also supplying each Travel Agent with a Travel Solutions Goodie Bag on each night which included a sweet treat for all!
Arriving at each location, suppliers quickly set up for the fantastic agents arriving! An array of agents arrived for nights of networking in a speedy fashion, fantastic food and lots of fun, sponsored and supplied by the amazing Gareth Leckey from Jet2holidays! Gareth quizzed the agents in a quick 7 questions. Then BRAND NEW for On Tour 2024 he challenged the 3 top ranking Travel Agents to a “Race To The Beach”. Agents had to quickly dress in their bikinis, swimming trunks, hats, sunglasses and blow up their inflatable arm bands before posing on a Jet2holidays beach towel!

Derry/Londonderry’s finalist was Gillian form Limavady Travel with 2min 34secondsArmagh’s finalist was Lisa from Clubworld Travel Portadown with 1min 57seconds.But Belfast is where we found our winner!!!! With a time of 1min 55seconds Savanah from Travel Max Worldwide won return flight seats for 2 with Jet2.comto a destination of her choice.
