Northern Ireland Agents Visit Hudson Valley

Travel Solutions, in partnership with Norwegian Air and I Love NY recently hosted six Northern Ireland travel agents on a fact-finding trip to Hudson Valley in New York State

Hudson Valley – a close 90-minute drive from ‘The Big Apple’ is now easily accessible using Norwegian’s year-round direct flight from Belfast International to Stewart (Newburgh) Airport.

Travel Solutions Operations Director, Julie Magill, who travelled with the group, was full of praise for the new service. She said: “Flying Norwegian was a new experience for all in the group and we were not disappointed. The onboard service exceeded all expectations.”

She continued: “On arrival at Stewart (Newburgh) Airport it took less than thirty minutes from stepping off the aircraft to boarding our transportation, including clearing immigration. We were staying within a short drive of the airport, but for those heading into New York City, a dedicated coach transfer met the Belfast flight. With low fares and great onboard service, plus the convenience of travelling through Stewart Newburgh Airport , anyone flying to this part of the states would be foolish to ignore the service from Belfast.”

During the three nights stay the group took the opportunity to visit a number of visitor attractions, including a tour of the famous US Military Academy at Westpoint and Franklin D Roosevelts Presidential Library and Museum – and no visit to this region would be complete without a visit to Woodbury Common – home to a large number of designer outlets and big name brands at greatly discounted prices.

The visiting agents took the opportunity to meet with a large number of hoteliers, visitor attractions and entertainment venues during their visit and were able to experience first hand, the friendliness and the great welcome from their Hudson Valley hosts.
